Mom Card Revocation… Again

Reason #1,236,498 why my Mom Card should be revoked — AGAIN: My son takes medication each day that kills his appetite, so when he’s going through a growth spurt, he usually wakes up in the middle of the night starved. I usually make him a PBJ or a Nutella sandwich to eat, but it’s hard to tell when he’s actually going through a growth spurt. So, I wait for him to wake up hungry and call out for me before I make the sandwich so food doesn’t go wasted. My husband is a real fan of that.

Last night was one of those instances and unfortunately, I’ve not been feeling the greatest. I’ve been very tired and at 3:00 in the morning, my mind was just not all that kw7P109yTMiyaRX4amGx_twist_tieperky, so imagine my horror when my child informed me that I tried to kill him because while eating his delicious Nutella sandwich, he bit into the bread bag twistie-tie that I couldn’t find when I was putting everything away… at 3:00 in the morning. My poor child. Being a mom is a great responsibility, but that mom card is hard to hold on to!!

About According to Giselle

Hi, I'm Giselle. I'm just a simple woman with simple desires, many talents, and a wish to share my ideas with you. In my home, I find that food is a way that everyone connects with each other, begins to find comfort and opens up, expresses themselves, finds joy. New and old friends, family ... each person slowly opens up to each other and begins to connect around food, fellowship, and laughter. I hope that along the way, we can connect and become friends as well. I invite you to join me on this journey of laughter, joy, sadness, food, entertainment, and so much more! And its all...
